Ellie is a very sweet little older lady! She is about 13 years old and thinks she is still a younger dog. Ellie has good house manners, really enjoys the company of people and other dogs, and loves to explore the yard. She is good in the car and has never met a stranger. Ellie is in good health besides being heartworm positive. Because of her age, we are treating her with the slow kill method. She also has a slight ligament tear in one of her back legs which causes her to only lightly weight bear. That sure doesn't stop her from running around! She gets laser therapy weekly which helps with the pain and inflammation. The tear is slowly healing. Ellie would probably like to have a doggie friend in her new home.
