My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Darius. Darius is about 2 years old; he has been felv/fiv tested (negative), neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. As you can see Darius is a very handsome bigger boy (10 pounds) with silky medium length fur. Darius is adorable. He came to us from another rural shelter where cats have a harder time getting adopted and in particular black cats just have a harder time getting adopted overall. That's hard to believe especially how charming Darius can be.

Darius is good with other cats as well as dogs. He moved into the foster home without missing a step. He acts as if he's lived there all of his life. He loves his catnip filled toys and glitter balls. He is still learning some manner and hasn't learned yet that it's not appropriate to walk on a keyboard when someone is trying to type but we're hopeful he'll stop that soon. Darius was also very interested in watching television. He was having the best time watching baseball on TV until he was just getting too excited that we were worried he was going to knock the TV over. He's been very interested in the doors leading to outside so we don't believe he should go to a home w/ small children - he's much faster getting through the door than they are. He loves to be carried around and loved. Darius will be available for adoption by mid-May.

Cause for Paws is a small all-volunteer Minnesota nonprofit 501 (c) (3) group whose main focus is on finding homes for stray and abandoned cats and kittens. Cause for Paws fosters these cats in our own private homes, we don't have a central facility. To find out more, please email Cause for Paws at cause4paws@hotmail.com or call us at 952-259-1483. The adoption fee is $130. Thank you.
