Facts about Smudgie

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Medium
DOB: October 12, 2015

Smudgie is one of the most affectionate "kittens" you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. He's a stunning black, handsome fellow that never stops purring or begging for attention. He would be great in just about any family dynamic as he's been brought up around my 65 lb dog and many other resident felines.

He does currently have an enlarged heart (Dilated Cardiomyopathy - DCM) so he is on medication twice daily plus taurine supplements. You would never know he has any issues at all as he is extremely playful and full of life. We are led to believe this condition may be reversed so that is our hope for Smudgie. He must remain on his medication and taurine supplements until an x-ray and/or ultrasound has shown that his condition has indeed been reversed.

Smudgie has had all his shots including FeLV and rabies, neutered, dewormed, flea and ear mite free, and will come with about a month's worth of medication (Pimobendan).

You will not regret adopting my sweet boy. He truly is one of the most loving and laid back felines I've ever had the pleasure of having in my care.

If you think Smudgie would make a nice addition to your home, please fill out our online questionnaire here...

Please remember to add in a number where I may reach you so we can schedule a meet and greet.

Also included in the adoption fee is treatment for ear mites, fleas, and/or any other health concerns that need to be addressed prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is an essential part of helping to offset the costs involved in keeping our rescues healthy and up-to-date with their vaccines and other health care treatment. This small adoption fee is payable upon transfer of the adopted kitten/cat. Payments are accepted via Electronic Money Transfer (EMT) or Cash. Deferred payments or partial payments are not accepted.
