  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Meet Bam! He’s one handsome Am Staff mix! He’s a big strong boy at about 75lbs, but mellowed out a bit since he’s 6 years old. If you want to avoid the puppy phase but like having a buddy around, he’s perfect! Bam knows his basic commands and has figured out his likes and dislikes. His likes include food (lots of food), bones, toys of all kinds, attention, your lap, kisses, walks, car rides and definitely water!! Speaking of walks, his family has reported that he is ‘leash reactive’ however we did not encounter that during his assessment and have determined he fancies himself the protector of his pack. He can be a bit jealous so he’d prefer you direct all your love and attention in his direction. Bam would like to be the only dog in your life if possible, but experienced owners with a balanced pack may also work as well. Of course he’d like to meet all family members! He’d do best with children over 8 that are dog savvy. Now for the dislikes – running, nail trims, vet appointments, loud noises and cats. He doesn’t dislike cats in the way you’d think, he finds them terrifying, so let’s not stress the poor guy out by making him live with a big scary kitty. Are you ready to add this silly pitty to your life? Just think of the slobbery kisses and impromptu water fights! Oh, but let’s not forget he’d also like a strong pack leader so he doesn’t need to do all that protecting! He’s house and crate trained. Adopters must own their home and have a fully fenced yard. His adoption fee is $150. Visit mustlovedogsnw.org to download the adoption application.

About Must Love Dogs NW

About Our Rescue Group...

Since 2008, Must Love Dogs NW has been deeply committed to ending pet homelessness in our community. We strive to educate the public on responsible dog ownership, behavior modification, and training assistance. We work to rehome dogs that are abused, neglected, homeless or about to be homeless and those in shelter settings. We provide spay/neuter and microchip assistance to animals in need. Through our volunteer foster network we are able to provide a loving home environment where we can get to know our dogs well and fully assess their needs. Must Love Dogs NW is a not-for-profit organization that relies 100% on the generosity of the community. Help us make a difference today.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process aims to match adoptable dogs with the best possible home to meet both the needs of the dog and the adopter. Therefore, we are not a first-come-first-serve rescue. All of our foster dogs are temperament tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary, based on the age, breed and temperament of the pet.
