Spot's Story...
Spot is an active, loving, easy-going, and goofy dog. He is one of two remaining puppies from a litter of 9 born at the rescue on April 8, 2014. He is full grown at 70#s. His best friend is his sister, Sunshine. They went to a forever home together as puppies, but were returned because they got too big. We were sad the home didn't work, but we've enjoyed all of the sloppy kisses we've gotten since he's returned. We would love for Sunshine and Spot to find a forever home together. But, we are willing to separate them, if need be. Their mom, Momma, is also looking for a forever home!

We are a small rescue in rural MO. We're so glad to be online now so they more people can get a look at this sweet boy! He desperately deserves a loving home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spot, a Saint Clair Harrier/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Harrier/Rottweiler for sale in Saint Clair, or seeking a Harrier/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Saint Clair.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saint Clair already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saint Clair breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Harrier/Rottweiler breeders who help with Harrier/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saint Clair paves the way for another one to be saved.
