Vader's Story...
Vader
Male
German Shorthaired Pointer Mix
DOB: 4/9/13

Vader is a high energy, enthusiastic friendly dog that loves attention. He is still a bit of a puppy and will benefit from basic training. He listens well, wants to please and will calm down. He is intelligent, and will be a devoted, loyal companion for that owner or family that will give him the time he needs. Daily walks and lots of exercise through playing ball and other active sports would be just what he will thrive on. Vader is house-trained with a doggie door. Vader does not like to be alone for long periods of time and will get creative about jumping out of six foot fence enclosures.

Vader will be so happy to find that forever home that will provide him with love, affection, plenty of activity and training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vader, a Mountain Center German Shorthaired Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Mountain Center, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer dog from a breeder in Mountain Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
