BREAKING NEWS!!!

We are so pleased to have a new 6-8 year old foster named Diane Sawyer (We call her Di). We believe her to be on the younger age range, as she is a spunky little girl who is also house trained!! I'm sure we'll be getting all the latest scoop and news. She had her appointment with the vet for spaying and dental a week ago and has bounced back completely.  Although she lost several teeth, she has a hearty appetite, so we're hoping she'll put on a little weight. She's ready to start interviewing for her forever home. Meanwhile, we're happy to have this little 6 lb. celebrity to cuddle. If you're interested, get your application ready and perhaps Di will be calling.

This precious baby is being fostered in Rome, GA

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diane Sawyer*Adopted, a Atlanta Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
