Izzy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Izzy's Story...
Izzy is a 2 year old Cocker Spaniel / Dachshund mix who came to us as an owner surrender. His old owner no longer had any time for the poor guy. He's a little on the chunky side at 23 lbs. (we figure he was eating away his feelings lol). Very friendly, potty trained, follows you all around and loves back scratches If you would like to meet Izzy please go to our website RescueADog.org and under the forms tab download an adoption application and email it back to info@RescueAdog.org and we will set up a meeting for you and Izzy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Palm Harbor Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
