My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

On May 09, 2016, Joker was selected to participate in the Friendship Prison Dog Program. He will spend the next several months getting trained in basic commands, obedience, manners and proper leash walking. He is currently not available. More info will be posted at a later date.

Joker is a gorgeous 2 year old Akita/Siberian Husky mix. He has spent his entire life on chain as an outdoor dog in certainly not the greatest conditions. Director Greg Willey with a few other rescue colleagues made the trek to Copley, Ohio to rescue this great dog hoping to finally find him a forever a loving home. Joker is a happy and friendly fellow that is receiving the training he needs at the Grafton Correctional Institute and will be a great dog once he returns.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
