Gracie's Story...
Gracie is an extremely well-behaved dog. She came to the shelter over a year ago with another dog who lived outdoors with her. Gracie is currently in a foster home . Although her foster parents love her very much, they are not in a position to adopt her. So she needs to find her forever home soon. Meanwhile, Gracie's foster mom took Gracie to the Perfect Pittie Manners class for pit bulls and she graduated with honors. Gracie is very smart. Gracie is very laid back and very eager to please

Gracie loves nothing more than cuddling with loved ones and sleeping in with them on the weekends. She loves to play fetch in the park and go for walks. Once she gets to know you, she'll love you forever. Gracie is crate trained and lives with a cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Palmyra Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Palmyra, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Palmyra.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmyra already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmyra breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmyra paves the way for another one to be saved.
