Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY LISTING for NEIL. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact Stacey at 503-568-9083 or email barrerastacey1212@gmail.com.
This is Neil. He is an 8 year old tan short-haired Dachshund weighing in at about 20 lbs. Due to his owner's declining health, they are no longer able to care for him and he is looking for a foster or forever home.
It is unknown if he is neutered.
He is up to date on immunizations except for Bordetella.
He is in good general health, with no known dental issues, allergies or medications.
He is kid, cat and dog friendly!
He is described as "kinda lazy," haha
He is leash trained and housebroken
He does well in the car.
If you can help rescue Neil, or know someone who can, we'd really appreciate the share!
Please note that this is a Courtesy Listing for a doxie that is NOT at Oregon Dachshund Rescue, Inc, ODR-Inc cannot make any guarantees or claims about this doxie...we are just helping to network him and help him find his forever family. For more information on Neil, please contact Stacey at 503-568-9083 or email barrerastacey1212@gmail.com
ODR, INC. ADOPTION CRITERIA (aka Our Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 12 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember these are rescues, many were surrendered because of these issues.
Please remember that this is a COURTESY LISTING for NEIL. This dog is not at Oregon Dachshund Rescue. For information please contact Stacey at 503-568-9083 or email barrerastacey1212@gmail.com. Thank you!
