My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What do you call a dog with three legs? Timmy!

Timmy is from the life of hard knocks. But nothing can bring this guy down. He has lived through so much and is a true inspiration. When I take him on walks I feel like I am hanging out with a famous person. Everyone that meets him just sees how special he is and wants to meet him right away. He gets lots of attention from strangers and loves it.

Timmy is a 4 year American Bulldog mix. He was shot in the head, lost a leg from being broken, and severely starved but still wags his tail every day. He is such a happy boy and lives a very healthy life. Three legs do not slow this guy down. He loves to play fetch, cuddle, squeak his stuffed animals, sit with you at a patio for dinner, and sunbathe. He is fully house trained, and has decent leash manners. I do have some suspicion that he is a little hard of hearing. But I am not surprised with him taking a gun shot to the head. However, he does listen to me by my hands and is always looking for me. He does just fine out of the crate.

If I did not have two dogs already there would be no question that Timmy would already have a forever home. I have come across some territory issues with him and my male dog (both of them are instigators). He gets along with most dogs but can have agression for dominance at times. It may be best for him to find a single dog home. I have seen him with children 3 and up and played well and enjoyed the attention.

This guy will be hard to say good-bye too, but I will be so happy for him when he finds his forever home
