From Foster Mom: "I met Glen (and his siblings) one day as I was wandering around going about my usual day. I felt like he may have needed just a little bit of help, so I called out to him: Hello! You there! You look like you might need a bit of good food and a warm place to stay! He came up to me with a grateful look on his face and said that yes indeed, and meal and a good night's sleep - safe from all the harms of outside would be very welcome. He asked if he could bring his brother and sister along too and I said of course! So we loaded up and as it turns out, Glen is a very pleasant and out-going guy! He is affectionate while being playful at the appropriate times! Glenn lives with one small dog and 2 large dogs and he doesn't mind them at all! Glenn would do best in a home with another male cat, but he did whisper in my ear the other day that he wouldn't mind at all going to a forever home with his sister, Michonne." Glen was born approximately 9-23-2015. He is microchipped, has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), de-wormed, and tested negative for FIV/Feluk. Call 507-451-4512 to meet him in her foster home. Adoption fee is $100. (C&AL)

About Steele County Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

We all know that kittens/puppies have a lot of spunk and energy and are perfect for some people. However, by adopting a more mature animal, you bypass the active kitten/puppy phase and it allows you to take the guess work out of what your pet will be like after he/she does some growing.

The Steele County Humane Society, Incorporated is a not for profit organization dedicated to:
* Providing quality foster care for homeless cats and dogs.
* Encouraging the adoption of homeless cats and dogs.
* Encouraging spaying and neutering to reduce the pet overpoplulation.

We rely on the love and care of volunteers to foster our animals until a permanent home can be found and are in desperate need of people willing to open their hearts and homes to these pets in need. Please call 507-451-4512 for more information.
