Madison's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Madison's Story...
Madison is black lab mix, female. She is around 1 ½ years old. She was found tied up and abandoned. She had a chemical burn from the top of her head down her back and it has healed up nicely. Not sure how she does around cats. She loves to have another dog around her size to play with. In fact, she is very attached to her foster sister who is also in the rescue, Heidi, and we would like them to be adopted together. She is unsure of walking on tiled floors, is learning to walk on a leash. Loves people and wants to be a lap dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Madison, a Macon Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Macon, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Macon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Macon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Macon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Macon paves the way for another one to be saved.
