Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howdy, folks! Little Oliver here. I just arrived from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina with my sister, Lily Rae. I’m still checking out everything and settling in, but I met a lot of people at spring vol day weekend and had a great time taking my glamour shots.
Okay, I admit … at first, I was a little scared of all the new faces and energies. I cowered a little and didn’t want to walk on a leash. But I’m a sucker for a treat! After some goodies and a lot of reassurance, I knew everything was going to be all right. I was walking like a pro — and posing like one, too — within no time!
I’m 4 years old, around 15 lbs. and UTD on shots. I tested positive for heartworm, so they treated me. I’m still in my “taking it easy” mode to let the worms die off and leave my system, but I should be just fine. I’m more submissive than my older sister and, like her, I get along with other dogs, children, horses and, yes, kitties, too.
