My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Otis. I lived in a great home, but unfortunately, I didn't get along very well with the other resident cats. To be fair, they liked to pick on me, but I was always the one getting in trouble. My owners decided it would be best to go find a new home where I can be the center of attention and I don't have to share space with lesser felines. I have a lot of love to give and love being with people. I am a total catnip junkie. Oh, I love to drink water out of a sink too.

Come in a see what an awesome cat I am! I love to be petted, in fact, I will get mad if you don't pet me for long enough. So when you decide to pet me, you better be committed! I love to be brushed and lay in the sunbeams. I've never been around dogs, but would probably do best without them.

And if you're wondering, FiV stands for feline immunodeficiency virus. I know, it sounds scary, but it's really not. Cats with FiV can live long, healthy lives - all it really means is that my immune system is a bit compromised, but as long as you keep my inside and feed me good food, there's no reason to worry. Another interesting fact is that cats with FiV are more awesome that non-FiV cats - at least that's what the volunteers here say.
