Imagine the shelter director's Monday morning surprise when he found Milo and his brother Ronan dumped over the fence at a high kill city shelter overnight: two little dachshund-mix brothers as cute and spunky as can be, no idea that they were in any danger at all. Thank goodness we found them before their time was up, and now the brothers have been fostered in a loving family with kids and dogs, and have been making everyone laugh all the time with their silly puppy antics! His foster mom writes:
"Milo is super friendly and very playful! He loves to run around like a lunatic when the "attack of the puppy crazies" hits him!! It is so cute to watch him play in the kitchen with his brother Ronan. There is a stool in the kitchen and they use it like a cave. They go in and out of it while they chase each other. Milo also learned to climb it (his brother has not figured how yet) -- he likes to get on it and he looks like a little lion on top!! Milo's "sad look" just melts you -- one look and you're done. You just want to hug and kiss him (which I do all the time!) As much of a goofball as Milo is, he's a Momma's Boy at heart. He loves to be picked up and held, loves to be baby-talked, and if you promise to kiss each of his little wrinkles one by one, he'll be the happiest baby boy ever!"
We think Milo is about 14 - 16 weeks old, he weighs about 15 pounds and he's a very healthy boy. He looks like a Doxie mixed with something else small and we're pretty certain he'll be on the smaller side of medium, or the larger side of small when he's fully grown.
