for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rhett's Info...

I am up to date with shots and good with dogs.

Rhett's Story...
Rhett was found as a stray and never claimed so he and the big fluffy dog he was hanging out with (see Scarlett's listing too) are ready to start life afresh.

Rhett was born around mid-November so is still basically a pup. He's playful and friendly though not 100% confident in himself (he let his buddy Scarlett do all the talking) so can be a tad timid in new situations. These pictures show though, that after 10 minutes from meeting him for the very first time, he felt pretty darned comfortable.

Rhett is healthy and up to date on vaccinations. He gets along with other dogs and would love to be adopted with his friend Scarlett but we are not requiring the pair be adopted together.

Email Homelesspetsfoundation@gmail.com or call 770-971-0100 for more info. Or fill out an adoption application, found at www.homelesspets.com/adoption-form.

Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, micro-chipping, vaccinations up to date at the time of adoption, one free check-up at Town & Country main vet clinic within 14 days of adoption and a free session with Tenasity dog trainers!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rhett, a Marietta Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
