Gem's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gem's Story...
Gem is a sweet, social, darling little girl. She gets along great with all people, dogs and cats too! She is a White Chihuahua mix Ratt Terrier, and at 6 months weighs 7#'s. Her sister Joy is white and brown, and the two are a lot alike and would be great adopted together or separately. Gem is easy going and rather calm for her age. She is housetrained and crate trained, but does fantastic loose in the house when someone is there. She loves attention and will come when asked to. If you are interested in a sweet, charming puppy, maybe Gem is the one for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gem, a St. Charles Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in St. Charles, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in St. Charles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Charles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Charles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Charles paves the way for another one to be saved.
