Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Penny has been moved around a lot in her young life. This 2 year old was adopted from a shelter in MI by a family that left her indoors in their trailer most of the day. She was taken in by a senior couple who found her to be just too strong for them. Her current owner loves her dearly, but has 2 other large dogs and didn't feel she was getting the time she needed and thought she could find a better home and stable family though Friendship. Penny is very outgoing and social, she greets with a smile. She knows most of her basic commands, loves to play tug and go for car rides. Good with house training and has manners in the home. Penny has not been with cats and likes children, but is very strong and a little rambunctious so older teennage children are recommended. Stop by for Penny soon. She really is priceless!
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
