MEET GRETA! This little 10 lb, 4-5 yr old, red/cream/black Shih Tzu / Brussels Griffon mix came to us from Inland Valley with terrible skin and ear infections, but with proper treatment and good food, she's right as rain now! The shelter said that she wasn't eating and was emaciated -- she obviously didn't like their food, because she chows down here! Greta came to the shelter matted and a mess. You will notice she has a chevron on her back where her coat has grown back a different color... It is coming in softer and cream colored! Greta is a great little lady who just loves loving and being loved. She can be a little human-possessive, so she'd probably prefer to be your one and only pup. She seems to be potty trained and does her business as soon as she goes out, but no promises at your house. We have never heard her bark! If you are looking for a dog who is a love and wants to give it all to you....Greta is your girl!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
