HEATHER & HAILEY's Story...
We are Heather (brown) and Hailey (black) - two sweet sisters looking for a new home together. We came to NBAR because our owner couldn't take care of herself, so she went to live somewhere with helpers and we came here to find new humans. We're very sweet and friendly, although Hailey can be a bit shy.

One thing about us is that had UTIs in the past. Our vet recommended we eat Purina One for Urinary Care and that really helps us out. You can find it at any pet store and it's the same price as other Purina One varieties.

We won't last long, so if you're interested, don't wait.If you are interested in meeting us, please come visit us at the NBAR Adoption Center located at 2502 Rochester Rd., Royal Oak MI. They are open from 4-7P Wed-Fri and 12-4P Sat-Sun.

Energy Level: Medium - Low

If you are interested in adopting us, please email NBAR your completed application. Our adoption fee is just $150, which helps cover the cost of our medical/vet work. If you don't think we're the ones for you, maybe you could share our story with your friends and family and help us find my purr-fect home! Why Adoption is a Great Option

HEATHER & HAILEY, a Royal Oak Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Royal Oak, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Royal Oak.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Royal Oak already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Royal Oak breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Royal Oak paves the way for another one to be saved.
