Mia is a 6 pound, 8 year old Shih Tzu. She came to us from a puppy mill. She was no longer young enough to turn out puppies every 6 months for the breeders and was banished to a small crate out in the woods in a rural area. She deserves to live the rest of her life in comfort in a loving home.
She is heart worm negative, spayed, and up to date on all her shots. Mia has some hair loss possibly due to the stress and an allergy to the numerous fleas that covered her small body. She has been groomed and now that she is in a clean, and in a stable environment, her fur is growing in nicely and she will have a beautiful long flowing coat when it grows back completely.
She is good with children, though being small, herself, it’s not recommended that she be with a toddler. She does well with cats, all adults and other dogs. She is very affectionate and loves to be near her humans. She is a wonderful lap dog with a lot of love to give.
Her adoption fee is $200. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) group, so all funds go right back into the care of these and future wonderful pups.
