My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pogo is an 11 year old Maltese mix, weighing just 8 lbs. Pogo is current on all vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He has lived his entire life outside and is trained to an electric fence. We are unsure of his status with cats, he appears to like to chase them. He is a territorial dog, who protects his family. He needs some work on housetraining and will benefit greatly from a belly band (to prevent marking). Pogo is also crate trained and will need regular grooming. Pogo’s sight and hearing aren’t what they used to be and for this reason, he needs a home with no young children (under 12).
APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED ADOPTION FEE $150
BLUEGRASS SENIOR DOG RESCUE ONLY FOSTERS/ADOPTS DOGS THAT ARE FULLY VACCINATED INCLUDING RABIES AND BORDATELLA AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED. ALL ANIMALS ARE MICROCHIPPED AND THE RESCUE PAYS THE REGISTRATION FEE. APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED.
Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a temporary or long term basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives for the dog while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.
