Ace's Story...
Ace is a gorgeous one year old boy. His best friend is his brother, Milo, and together they make an impression. They are large cats with gorgeous coats and bright clear eyes to match. Ace is a gentle soul with a quietness that is calming to everyone around him. He likes to sprawl out on a cool tile floor and when we say sprawl, we mean he stretches out for a couple of feet! He's quite unbothered by dogs of all sizes, even large dogs, and has very nice manners with other cats. Ace and Milo would like to share a home forever - they've never been separated even when they lost their first home and found themselves in an animal shelter. They both have perfect manners, good litter pan habits, and are incredibly loving to humans. In fact, they crave human affection. If you'd like to meet Ace and Milo, please email info@FORrescue.net and their liaison will contact you asap. If you'd like to get a head start, please complete the cat application at www.FORrescue.net. You are so welcome to bring your family and visit them - they are located in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ace, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
