Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Frankie is a pure breed German Shepherd and was surrendered to us because the wife developed Asthma and wanted Frankie to leave. His male owner was heartbroken since he really really loved his dog. Frankie is 1 and a half year old. He is housebroken, great with children and people. He has to learn some social skills when it comes to other dogs because he has never really been around of them and don't know how to interact. He doesn't show aggressive behavior but some dogs might not like the way he introduces himself. We would prefer a home where he can be the only dog since he really needs some basic training. He is very very strong. Even though his owner loved him to pieces, yet has he never taken Frankie out of his familiar territory. New environments can stress him out and needs a person understanding enough to lean on. He is very large and weighs 130 lbs. Someone experienced and physically strong has to be his new adopter.
With some effort and maybe the help of a dog trainer, Frankie would make a wonderful family pet since he has wonderful people skills.
