Lily's Story...
Name: Lily

Age: Three!

Looking For: A chill mate to hang out with, dudes and dudettes! I like to keep it calm and quiet, so I'm looking for someone who's just as dope as me!

About Me: I'm quiet as a mouse, and a little bit shy. Still feeling out my surroundings in this new place! Definitely beats the mean streets, if you know what I'm saying! My foster mom tells me I'm sweet as pie, and I must confess, can't say that I disagree with her!

Dislikes: Other cats--my friends, I am not feelin' them right now. I like to soak up your attention, hang out by myself, and any other furry felines in my face is just a no for me. But I'm learning to warm up to them because, you know, they keep meowing that 'Why Can't We Be Friends' song and it's driving my nuts like nip!

If you're interested in meeting me, please email info@teamcatrescue.ca for an application today. I swear, we'll have the most illest times together, because I'm the chillest, freshest friend you ever did meet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a THORNHILL Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in THORNHILL, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in THORNHILL.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in THORNHILL already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a THORNHILL breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in THORNHILL paves the way for another one to be saved.
