Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello. I’m Sparky. I was a still a little confused and scared about why I arrived here in May 2016, but they assured me I would get over that quickly and get feisty at JRT-U.
My heart was broken when my family moved and decided they couldn’t take me with them. They dropped me off at the kill shelter with “my child” watching everything. I’m sure they were as sad and lost as me. But it “is what it is,” I guess, and I knew I had to move on.
In late June, they discovered I had a nasty Pseudomonas infection in my ears. Yep, that’ll do it. I’m recouping now and feeling so much better. Even so, I’m still very chill, easygoing and non-confrontational for a Jack Russell.
I’m 5 years old, around 18 lbs., heartworm negative, UTD on shots, and I get along fine with other dogs, children, cats, etc. I’m even housebroken. I’m very laid-back and submissive. I love to be loved on and will easily roll over for belly rubs.
