found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Pep, as we affectionately call her, really has no "pep" at all, her two favorite things to do are eat and nap. She is more comfortable wearing her t-shirt, maybe because it fits a little snug and offers her some security. She's adorable wearing it! She's had some anxieties around storms and rides in the car, but has shown some improvement with hard work from her foster mom. She gets "itchy" during allergy season, but prescription strength antihistamines help her stay comfortable.
Pepper gets along with the dog in the home, is cat friendly and is also good around children; she's even been around Guinea pigs (although I wouldn't let her around them alone.) She is crate and house trained and walks great on a leash. Because of Pepper's anxieties, she would be happiest where she had a human around, maybe with a work-from-home family or a retired couple.
Pepper weighs about 28 lbs, is completely vetted, and has completed heartworm treatment. She is now on routine heartworm preventive.
**Note: We are sending Pepper to a specialist to evaluate her conformation in the hips. She will not be released for adoption until we receive that evaluation and recommendations. We expect that visit to occur late May, first of June.
