Arjuna's Story...
Arjuna is a nice, laid back older male kitty about thirteen years old. He is an orange tabby with short hair and is on the large side – actually kind of kind of roly-poly. He has spent his life at the cat sanctuary and even though he is always out in plain view, he seems to be in the background, because he doesn’t put himself forward. When humans notice him and give him attention, he is overjoyed – he leans into the petting and gets excited. Sometimes he even gives little sounds of pleasure. He loves to be petted all over. He will take as much love and attention as you want to give. Arjuna gets along well with other cats and likes to hang out with them. He would do well in a household with another cat or cats. He would be thrilled to have a home of his own and a bit of recognition for the sweetheart that he is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Arjuna, a Naples Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naples, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naples.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naples already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naples breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naples paves the way for another one to be saved.
