Gus's Story...

Gus is a 9 week old male Sharpei/Lab mix with short blonde hair. His mother was found as a stray and turned into a vet clinic who quickly found out she was pregnant. Gus and his 6 other brothers and sisters were born at the vet clinic and now they are ready to find homes. Gus is the laziest puppy of his group but can be enticed to play by his siblings. He is also the biggest of his litter weighing in at 20 pounds. His mother looks like a pure Sharpei but dad must have been a bigger lab maybe shepherd mix. Gus is very sweet and cuddly and loves to lay on you and be held. He is always the last of the siblings to come over and check out the fun but getting more confident every day. He has an amazing sweet disposition and loves attention. This big boy loves all the other dogs and cats and is great with everything. He also adores children and is a very gentle player. If Gus seems like the right match for you please call Jen #623-210-6578.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gus, a Phoenix Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shar Pei/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
