Seron's Story...
Come meet me at the Longmont Petco from 12pm to 3pm Saturday June 4th during their Adoption Event!

Hi, my name is Seron, pronounced say-rOn. I'm named after a Japanese goat that is considered a national treasure. I was pulled from a puppy mill Auction back in February and I am loving my new life! I love to play with other dogs, my foster mom and get petted. I can get a little grouchy around other dogs if they are near my crate when I am in it or your food or bones that I don't want to share. Other than that though I'm good with other dogs, cats and also children. Small animals especially birds really intrigue me so I don't recommend a home with small animals or birds including chickens.

I am crate trained and potty trained and enjoy going on walks. I'm also not super vocal so an apartment might also be a great living situation for me. Since I'm named after or go out however I can jump pretty high and even climb through or into precarious situations. Because of this I need a house with 6-foot privacy fencing if I am in a home with a fenced-in yard rather than the apartment. I do love running around as much as I love petting so I hope to find a family that can keep up with me!

My adoption fee is $350. I am two years old and I am spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and come with a six-week training course.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Seron, a Loveland Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Loveland, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Loveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
