Dante's Story...
Dante is quite the charmer... He is an adorable 5 month old Terrier mix puppy, rescued in Mexico by our sister group. He has made his way to foster care in Gig Harbour Washington, which can be a quick ferry ride for potential adopters from Vancouver Island. Dante loves everyone he meets, including humans of all ages, as well as other dogs (especially the playful friendly type) and he is even good with cats. He is an energetic puppy who loves to run and go for long walks, and if no one is available to play with he will keep himself busy with his toys all on his own. Dante currently weighs 22 pounds, is neutered, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines. If you would like to adopt sweet Dante, please email info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dante, a Victoria Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Victoria, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Victoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
