Here's what the humans have to say about me:
LILLY is a 7 year old spayed fox red female Lab who weighs 37 pounds. She was an owner turn in to the shelter as family was moving and couldn’t take her and their other 2 dogs with them. Lilly likes people and to be with you. She is a little shy right as she is getting used to being with us vs. her family. She is very friendly and as you can see from her video likes to play and retrieve.
Good with kids 5 up lived with 3 ages 5-9 with no problems. Good with other dogs, lived with a GSD and a Fox Hound. No cat information. Knows basic commands. Okay on lead. Inside dog house and crate trained. Lilly comes from the country and has no exposure to big cities. Placements is limited to single family stand-alone homes in a suburban neighborhood, or rural area. Lilly must have a fenced yard - not an invisible fence. Lilly is approved for kids ages 5+.
Update:: Silly Lilly is at it again!! Lilly discovered an old deflated soccer ball in the yard. She enjoyed fetching the ball and wrestling with it again and again. After frolicking around in the hot sun, she loved spreading out on the cool kitchen floor and then resting in her dog bed. She thoroughly enjoyed her first bath and looks gorgeous with her foxy colored shiny coat. Lilly also got a weigh in at the vet and is up to 44 pounds!! The vet would like her to be closer to 50, and she's enjoying her extra kibble while she gets there. Don't let Lilly's frosted face fool you, she is an active, energetic, happy 7 year old!
Update:: Lilly is a super sweet, happy girl, who is quite active for a 7 year old. Lilly LOVES to play fetch and would be a great resource for any Little Leaguers in training. She is happy to prance around a fenced back yard chasing balls, but then also loves to snuggle up for a nice snooze on the lap of her humans. Lilly is also a big fan of a Peanut Butter Kong when it's time to hang out in her crate.
Update:: The best way to describe 7 year old Lilly is as a LOVE BUG and she is APPROVED FOR KIDS 5 and UP! She has spent much of her time with her fosters snuggled in a lap and has been smothering big and small humans with kisses all day long. She has also thoroughly enjoyed multiple belly rubs. Lilly has been great with the tiny humans and they are especially happy with her retrieving talent! She loves to chase the tennis ball around the back yard and will actually bring it back, drop it, and do it again and again. Lilly slept in her dog bed last night without a problem and was happy to gobble down her breakfast this morning. If you are looking for love, Lilly has more than enough for everyone in the family!!
