for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Charlie's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Charlie's Story...

Charlie is approximately a 1.5 to 2 year old Schnauzer and most likely a little mixed!

This handsome, sweet boy weighs in at about 22 lbs. Charlie found himself homeless after his owner could no longer afford to care for him and is looking for a forever home to give him the love and attention he deserves!

Hi!  I am a happy, friendly guy who gets along with everyone I meet and I enjoy playing with my resident dogs.  I enjoy taking walks and snuggle up to good TV.  I definitely love lots of belly rubs!

Charlie will make a great companion and family member; you won’t regret opening your heart and home to this wonderful boy!

Like most shelter dogs (and especially puppies), Charlie will need house training when arriving in their new home.

The adoption fee for this dog is $330. Our dogs receive: routine vetting (DHPP, Bordatella, Rabies, Deworming, microchip and additional services as needed). Our adoption fee helps cover these costs. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our adoption application at https://newloveanimalrescue.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application/ .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Herndon Standard Schnauzer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Standard Schnauzer for sale in Herndon, or seeking a Standard Schnauzer dog from a breeder in Herndon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Herndon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Herndon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Standard Schnauzer breeders who help with Standard Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Herndon paves the way for another one to be saved.
