Kane's Story...
Kane #4712 is a 3-year-old male Cane Corso mix. Kane is a very sweet boy. This young man is crate trained and housebroken. He knows basic commands, can be a little strong at times. He needs someone a little stronger to walk him. He is curious about other dogs but not aggressive. He weighs in at 110 pounds and is full grown. He would love to have a family with a fenced yard and kids to play with, bigger kids so that they are not overwhelmed by his size. This pup is microchipped. We believe you can always teach an ‘old’ dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup; it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for adoption event locations and updates: www.facebook.com/lcarmd.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kane, a Waldorf Cane Corso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cane Corso for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Cane Corso dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cane Corso breeders who help with Cane Corso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
