Meet Chester, he was born around 3-16-2016, and is just as adorable as can be. He like his brothers, have gorgeous markings. Spots and stripes, and pictures just don't do them justice. Chester loves playing and running around like most kittens so lots of toys and playtime is a must. Like his brothers, he is super friendly, very social, and has been doing very well with the dogs in the foster home. He uses the kitty box like a champ. This kitty will be greeting your guest at the door. He won't be hiding under the bed unless there is a toy to fetch. He is such a great kitty! He is being fostered in a South Naperville home with his siblings Castiel and Casanova as well as with Clara, Amaretto, and Luna.

South Naperville is where you would go to meet this handsome boy. An adoption application must be submitted prior to making an appointment for a meet and greet. Adoption applications can be found on our website at, then click on the forms tab. We do not have a physical building so there are no viewing hours, thus the reason for the application to be submitted first.

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet as all of our animals are cared for in homes. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Naperville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
