Sammy's Story...
Sammy is a gorgeous all american mutt- we are not really sure what he is?Q American Bulldog, Boxer, Beagle, Pit Bull? He's about 45 lbs with a medium coat- like a Lab's.
Sammy was rescued for terrible conditions in Memphis. He was tied to a fence in a Memphis junkyard/autobody shop. He had a plastic crate as a dog house. He's just a year old, and very playful and friendly. He loves other dogs. He does need to work on basic manners- he doesn't know any better, so he does jump up when he's excited.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Pittsburgh Boxer/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Beagle for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a Boxer/Beagle dog from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Beagle breeders who help with Boxer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
