Cindy Lauper - 7 lbs's Story...
Cindy Lauper is a darling 6 pound 10 year old long-haired Chihuahua. Because of her markings and fluffy fur, there's a chance there's a touch of Pomeranian in her lineage. But whatever her breed is, one thing is for sure, Cindy is a treasure. Cindy came into rescue from a puppy mill that recently shut down. Cindy had lived her entire 10 years in a pen with other dogs being bred over and over again. Cindy now knows the joy of sleeping in a bed, grass under her feet, quality food in the bowl, and endless snuggles and kisses from her foster moms. During Cindy's time in foster care she has put on weight, successfully handled a spay and dental, her coat is improving daily, and she's responded to all of this with enthusiasm. Cindy Lauper is loving her new life and is looking forward to being adopted into her forever home where she can be the apple of someone's eye.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cindy Lauper - 7 lbs, a Dahlgren Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in Dahlgren, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Dahlgren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dahlgren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dahlgren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dahlgren paves the way for another one to be saved.
