What is your name?
Hi, my name is Nova, or officialy Super Nova.
How old are you?
I’m about 2 years old.
What do you look like?
I am a brindle beauty. I am quite the stunner. I have the sweetest doe-like eyes and a lean muscular build. I am a graceful and gentle girl.
What do you like to eat?
My foster mom feeds me dry dog kibble made from fish. I also do tricks for treats!
What kind of personality do you have?
I am as sweet as they get. I am calm, respectful and very loving. I listen very well. I always make the right choices. I am gentle with people and animals. I love children and I have wonderful manners with them. My foster mom said I must have been someone’s beloved pet before I ended up homeless because I am pretty much perfect in every way.
Describe your perfect day:
My perfect day would include doing anything you would like to do! I am so easygoing I will fit in anywhere! Want to lay in the sun? Let’s do it! Want to go for a walk? I am in, plus I will walk at your pace, right next to your side! Want to watch movies on the couch? Done, I will keep you warm and comfy the whole time.
What is your favorite toy?
I will play with any toy that you offer to me, mostly I just want to do whatever makes you happy.
Do you know any tricks?
I know “sit, down, and place!” I also walk perfect on a leash, and I am an angel in the kennel.
What scares you?
I was a little nervous sitting shotgun in the car, but nothing I didn’t get past after practice.
Do you like cats?
My mom hasn’t seen me around any cats yet, but her guess is that I would be very nice to any animal I meet.
Do you have any doggie best friends?
Yes! I live with a doggie foster brother! I play with the neighbor dog and all of my foster mom’s friends’ dogs. I meet dogs very appropriately and I haven’t met a dog that I don’t get along with.
If you could be anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Wherever the people are! Most specifically, I want to be lying on my people’s lap.
How is your health?
I am in perfect health!
Who do you live with in your foster home and who is your closest companion?
I share a home with my foster mom and dad, two human siblings, and my foster doggie brother.
Where do you hang out when you are home alone?
When I am the only one in the house, my foster parents put me in my crate. I have learned to hop into my kennel by myself whenever my foster asks me to.
Where do you sleep?
I sleep in a crate or dog bed in my foster mom’s bedroom at night. But I also love to cuddle with the kids on their beds in the evenings.
What do you love about your foster family?
I love just being with them. They give me attention, cuddles, food, walks and lots of play time. Life is good!
What was life like before you were rescued by Even Chance and brought into the welcoming arms of your foster parents?
I was found as a stray and I was placed in the care of St. Louis City Animal Control. They took great care of me until Even Chance was able to bring me into their foster program.

These opinions are based on the temperament tests we perform prior to accepting the dog into our program and the behaviors the dogs display as they grow up.
