My story

Howdy folks, I'm Jefferson, a 3 year old male German Shorthaired Pointer/Bulldog mix. I like other dogs and kids, but am looking for a home without chickens. I am good with dog-savvy cats and have been working on coexisting with them. I'm laid back and easy-going! I enjoy going for walks and hikes, and will even carry a backpack on my back to help haul all the supplies needed during our outdoor adventures! I am already house and crate trained and know sit and lay down. I am also learning to stay and walk well on a leash when reminded not to pull. I don't jump up when meeting new people, and I love to put my head in your lap when it's time to relax. I come with a free lifetime membership to K-9 Concepts to adopters in the area.

My adoption fee is SPONSORED (meaning I can be adopted fee-waived to an approved home) and includes my neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration!
