Spike - adoption pending's Story...
Looking for love? Spike is always ready and willing to give out kisses and cuddles. He is a 10 lb pucker loving mutt. He adores his human and doesn't require a lot of exercise. Spike will make a wonderful quiet companion, but he will politely alert you if someone is at the door. Spike would love to be an only dog. He gets along fine with other dogs though (prefers small dogs). He is crate trained, housebroken, and knows how to use the doggie door. He is approx 3 years old. Contact Patricia 925-787-5825 or olveiry@yahoo.com for more information. A home visit is required prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike - adoption pending, a Pleasanton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Pleasanton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Pleasanton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pleasanton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pleasanton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pleasanton paves the way for another one to be saved.
