Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cali is a beautiful, young, 1 year old female Dachshund mix. She weighs 9.5 pounds. She was found as a stray running around alone. Posts to find her owner have not brought anyone forward. When she was found, she was very dirty, skinny, and scared, she had no collar. We’ve gotten her spayed, she looks to have had pups previously, up to date on her shots, and microchipped. She also had a dental to remove some plaque build-up on her canines. Cali is great with all people, and LOVES kids. She gets along with other dogs big and small. We are working on crate training. She can become lap protective and protective over the bed with other dogs, but some simple training works great. She is scared of thunder and loud noises. Cali seems house trained with a dog door, but can pee when she’s nervous or scared. She loves to snuggle as close as possible and carry her stuffed “babies” around in her mouth for comfort. If you are interested in meeting Cali, please text her foster mom Carrie at 702-366-6391 or complete an interest application at www.ahome4spot.com. There is an adoption fee.
