Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wobbles is a neutered male Poodle Mix that is between 2-3 years. Wobbles was found running the streets of LA and the good samaritan brought him to us after attempting to find his home. He is a friendly guy that loves kids and adults and will make someone a nice family dog.
Wobbles got his name because he came to us with a wobbly type gait. We took him to the vet and took x-rays and had a basic physical done on him. The vet found no evidence of a back injury or a trauma that would indicate a reason for his neurological problems so we proceeded forward with his vaccines and heartworm test. The blookd test also tests for other bacteria/parasites and we discovered that he had Ehrliciosis, a tick borne disease. This explained his neurological issues. We treated Wobbles for a month of antibiotics and he was cleared and is now negative for Ehrlicia.
The bad news is, the damage is done and he will always have a wobbly gait. The good news is, it does not affect Wobbles mentally. He is a happy little guy that loves to play with the other dogs but sometimes can be bossy. He runs, jumps, romps around and is a very happy guy.
Do you have love in your heart for this guy? Then email us for an application His adoption fee is $175 plus $10.99 microchip registration fee.
