Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This lady is very dear to my heart. The Animal Control Officer called me and said he had a tiny little Mama dog and her two tiny 5 week old puppies. Bless her heart, she was so terrified in that shelter that she was growling and lashing out at anyone that came close. I just took her and the puppies home and left them in a quiet place to settle down. Later when I checked on her and she was fine…gracious, sweet and friendly. She raised two beautiful little puppies and they have since been adopted into wonderful homes. Now it’s Lizzie’s turn to find a new family and home of her own. She is a very happy, lovable and spunky little lady. She gets along great with all of the other dogs and the cats. She LOVES treats and will find them on her own if I don’t give her one...sometimes she will hide them under her blanket. She LOVES blankets too! Every morning when it’s time to go outside I have to wait for her to get unwrapped from her blanket, eventually you’ll see a little nose poke out and she comes running…she’s such a little doll! She did have heartworms and has completed her heartworm treatment making her good as new. She is four years old and weighs 7 pounds. She has been spayed, heartworm tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $375.
Lizzie is being fostered in Tennessee. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company.
