Jasper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Jasper's Story...
Update 06/07/16 Jasper is in training. His foster mom said hebis doing well. Hopefully training will help him have the opportunity to go to the dog park.

Jasper is a great dog! He loves people of all sizes. His only problem is that he is dog selective. He does not like male dogs whatsoever. This means that Jasper will never get to go to the dog park, but that doesn't mean there isn't a home for him that can meet the needs of Jasper. He will show you tons of love, he is also house trained. He loves to play and cuddle. Please consider giving Jasper a chance. He is being fostered in TX, but transport is available. A fenced in yard is required for Jasper. NO electric fences, or bark collars.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a San Antonio Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
