Romeo's Story...
Hi, my name is ROMEO and I am a DECLAWED (front paws only) ADULT male NORWEGIAN FOREST CAT mix. I am FRIENDLY and OUTGOING and I really like PEOPLE. I get along with other cats also. I’m actually 9 years old, but you would never know it because I’m VERY AGILE and QUITE PLAYFUL. I love LYING ON MY BACK and getting my BELLY RUBBED. I take great pleasure in being BRUSHED too, which keeps my BEAUTIFUL coat of fur looking shiny and groomed. Recently my owner moved and was not able to take me so I’m temporarily living in a nice foster home. Here are some of the comments that my foster mom has said about me. “Romeo is such a LOVELY CAT. He will make an absolutely WONDERFUL PET for that SPECIAL SOMEONE!” Are you that “special” someone? Arrange to meet me. I am neutered, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.

To meet me, fill out the CAT ADOPTION APPLICATION at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Long Beach Norwegian Forest Cat cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Norwegian Forest Cat for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Norwegian Forest Cat cat from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Norwegian Forest Cat breeders who help with Norwegian Forest Cat rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
