Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Super friendly 80 lb Lab//hound mix available for adoption. He was adopted as a young dog, but the growing family travels and didn't have time. He's great with kids and was raised with toddlers, but can knock over a small child when he's excited. He needs a big fenced in yard to allow for adequate exercise. He's good in the house, not destructive. Leaves the kids toys alone as long as he has his own toys. He stays off the furniture as that was the rule in his former home, but if you're not home, he might go on the furniture. Adopter used to run up to 5 miles with him. He can climb stairs and jump fences 3 feet but won't challenge a five foot fence. Eventually can loose leash walk, will pull at first. Owner said he is the perfect dog for the family who has time. Large breed experience required. He's available to meet on Tuesday, 5/24 at our shelter, from 2-6 PM.
