Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am a 7 year young female named Bootsy. Don’t be afraid of my age as it just means that I am more skilled in being your loving, devoted companion. I have had 7 years to purrfect the art of cuddling and purring. I was found as a kitten when I was fending for myself outdoors where I was born. Once I came inside where I am treated like a Queen, I have never thought once of going back out there. I enjoy being pampered with treats, toys, a warm lap to lay on, and a cozy bed to sleep in. Actually, I prefer to sleep on top of my human while I purr a lullaby. I enjoy being loved on, and I will ask for you to keep petting me. Although I am not a fan of being carried or picked up, I prefer to come to you while you are relaxing on the couch to sit on your lap with you while you watch tv or to cuddle up next to you as you and I take a long cat nap. I love playing with a laser light and pretty much any cat toy. Because I was born outside without any humans for the first 4 or so months, I do tend to be a little more skiddish with loud noises and fast movements. I bond very strongly with my family. I love dogs, especially calm ones, and will rub all over them. I like to watch over older children and will keep them safe as they fall asleep at night. I enjoy the company of quiet, laid back cats that won’t try to chase me. I am looking for a home that will have just a little bit of patience to let me adapt to my new surroundings since I am not accustomed to change, but I promise that you won’t be disappointed with me as I have so much love to give.
