Facts about Valentine

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Valentine was surrendered to a rural kill facility in Putnam County after her owner was placed in a nursing home. She was well loved and taken care of, which is obvious by her weight of almost 12 pounds. She is front declawed and needs to be an indoor cat. She will be happiest in a quiet, dog and cat free home where she can lie by a window or on a pillow in bed with you. She bonds ONLY with the person that feeds and spends time with her and she will hiss and swat at strangers and that is why we are seeking an experienced cat owner for her. At 8 years young, she has many years left to snuggle up in bed next to you! Adopt lovely Valentine!

About Animal Rescue Rangers of Florida

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, small animal rescue group. We rescue cats and dogs from high kill animal control facilities in Northeast Florida and have them fully vetted and microchipped before placing them up for adoption. In many cases, we rescue the animals that are left behind by other rescues because of their age or because they need costly medical attention.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a Petsmart Charities adoption partner and our events are held at the Oakleaf Town Center Petsmart on Crosshill Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida. We try to hold an event at least once a month at Petsmart and we will be there during their National Charities Event weekends on February 18th, May 6th, September 16th and November 11th. We hope to see you soon!

Our Adoption Process...

We require that an adoption application and contract be completed along with a home visit. All animals adopted are expected to be indoor pets as we consider our furbabies as family members. Adopters must also be local to the Jacksonville area.
